FunnelWise conducted research about revenue funnel performance and determined there is often a great deal of friction when marketing passes qualified leads to sales in what is commonly referred to as the handoff stage. This stage in the revenue funnel where performance typically suffers.

We had a hunch that to fix the handoff, marketing focuses on efforts at the top of the funnel, while sales focuses on actions at the bottom. But what if they focused on improving the required actions during this stage using data? So we conducted a short survey to better understand the perceptions around the handoff stage in the revenue funnel.
